| Overlanding was the first true form of Adventure Travel. Starting in the mid 60's with
people venturing outside of the standard Europe trip, intrepid travellers buying a VW combi
and driving from London to Kathmandu.
| AS this run became "the done thing", adventurers turned to new horizons and began
journeying into Africa.
| In the 80's overlanding was the only way to see Africa and many companies began
commercialising the routes both here and across the middle east and Asia.
| Today overland routes run through all of South America, central Asia and in to China.
In custom built expedition vehicles, seating up to 22 people the mode of transport is safe,
secure and very comfortable. You can even re charge your lap tops and Ipods these days as
well as utilising the best cooking and camping equipment. The crew are highly trained in
not only the destination they work but in the maintenance of the vehicles.
| It is the best way to see a country with the flexibility to stop in out of the way
places, local markets off the tourist trail as well as see areas most people would fly over
with an equal offering of camping and hotel options.
| The itineraries are flexible and you get the freedom of independent travel with the benefits
of group security and buying power.
