Day 1

Cruise on out to the Yasawas, then we take you the length of the island chain to the Blue Lagoon region arriving at lunchtime.This is where you begin your Yasawa experience. A great place to enjoy Discover Scuba - your introduction to diving (optional extra).

Day 2

Explore the Islands walks, fantastic beaches and coral while the Full Monty passengers enjoy the boat trip to the Sawailau Caves with their awesome underwater caverns.

Day 3

For a serene experience it's hard to top a stay at Korovou. It's one of Fiji's friendliest village resorts you will stay at and has a strong family ambiance. Great evening atmosphere with entertainment and hanging around the pool or a beautiful beach.

Day 4-5

Time to head for the southern Yasawas with a short vessel transfer on the 'Yasawa Flyer'. These southern most islands are dominated by stunning monolithic mountains. There is a great range of activities on offer - the summit walk, a reef snorkelling trip and guided kayaking. Full monty guests - choose any 2 of these 3.

Stay at Kuata or Waya Lailai, B, L, D

Day 6

Chill, beach, snorkel until the late afternoon transfer to South Sea Island (dorm) or Bounty (doubles).

Day 7

Kick back with more snorkelling, swimming, watersports and sunbathing. Full Monty passengers, on your last day there is a special outing aboard 'Seaspray' sailing the outer Mamanuca Islands. Enjoy the crystal clear water for snorkelling and swimming, a traditional Fijian village visit and Kava ceremony. Visit the island featured in the Tom Hanks movie 'Castaway'. All booze, morning/afternoon tea and a barbecue lunch is included.

It's a stunner. Alas, today it's all over and you return to Nadi.

Meals are not included in the price for Manta Ray and Bounty Islands. A meal package of $32 per night at Manta Ray and $37 per night at Bounty are to be paid directly to the resorts.

Getting There

Air Pacific is Fiji,s international carrier that has direct flights from Auckland, Christchurch, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Narita (Japan). Air Pacific is a full partner of the Qantas Frequent Flyer programme and has code-share arrangements.

Other airlines that fly into Fiji are Qantas, Air New Zealand, Korean Air and Pacific Blue.

Currency

Name Fiji Dollar

Symbol F$ Bank notes come in denominations of two, five, 10, 20 and 50 dollars. Even though Fiji is now a republic, notes and coins still have a picture of England's Queen Elizabeth II on one side.

The dollar is broken down into 100 cents. The following coin denominations exist in cents - one, two, five, 10, 20, 50. There is also a F$1.00 coin.
