Dates:

Day 1. Liberia

Transfer from International Airport Daniel Oduber in Liberia, Guanacaste to Hacienda Guachipelin, Rincon de la Vieja. After lunch we enjoy a hiking to the Chorreras Waterfall which is a double waterfall that joins the Blanco River and together they form a natural blue pool. An excellent place to enjoy a dip in the water or just to admire the beauty of the scenery. It is at 1 km. from the hotel and them hiking to the viewpoint.

Day 2. Liberia - Rincon de la Vieja NP - Oropendula waterfalls - Liberia

A full day tour is waiting for us inside Rincon de la Vieja National Park. Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin is famous for its horseback riding tours. A huge ranch allows us to use scenic trails instead of taking you on paved roads. You can see a lot of things during a normal trip. We have trips that last from one hour with really easy going horses, for the beginners, to big trips all day long for the more adventurers.

And then to Oropendula waterfalls a 25 meter high waterfall with emerald-green water. A forest covered canyon surrounds it. It is 3 km, from the hotel. You can get here either by horseback riding, hiking, or by car and then taking a short walk.

Volcanic mud pool and thermal waters await us after a active day. Surrounded by forest and hugged by the Colorado River heat surfaces through a crack in the deep geological formations, and boiling mud pools are formed, which emanate a vapor with a smell of sulfur. The water and the volcanic mud have healing properties. B

Day 3. Liberia - Canopy Tour - Taramindo

The Canyon Canopy Tour is a must do. We say this is the best tour in Costa Rica, because it is packed with many more things than just the zip lines. Imagine yourself Rappelling, Rock Climbing, Canopy, Tarzan Swings, Via Ferrate, Hanging Bridges, all set in the majestic canyon made by the erosion of the Blanco River during millions of years.

After this exiting adventure the lunch is waiting for us and then we depart for Tamarindo Beach and the Tamarindo Diria Hotel. BL

Day 4. Taramindo

Enjoy a day of leisure at the beautiful Tamarindo Beach Resort.

Tamarindo has all the amenities of a Costa Rican beach town: surf, sand and sun, sun, sun. But it offers much more. It is the ideal place for honeymoons and weddings, couples, and families, and wonderfully suited to eco-adventures.

Tamarindo offers first class sport fishing, sailing, surfing, golf, ATV tours, turtle watching, diving, horseback riding, canopy tours, jungle boat rides, beauty spa, an art gallery and crafts and pottery stores. A multi-cultural community, Tamarindo boats several bakeries, an outdoors vegetable market and more than 40 restaurants. Whether you like to eat Vegetarian, 'Tipico' Costa Rican, Italian or Sea Food, it is all here. BLD

Day 5. Taramindo - Papagayo Gulf

After breakfast soak up some more sun and fun before a noon transfer to Papagayo Gulf and the All Inclusive Fiesta Premier Resort. BD

Day 6. Papagayo Gulf

This area is untamed and very beautiful. If you want to get away from people and experience the nature of Costa Rica at its fullest, this is a great area to explore.

At Papagayo Gulf rest and relaxation always go hand in hand, with mesmerizing ocean views and intimate settings and activities, as well as lush tropical greenery at every turn. If you enjoy sunny days, this is your spot. BLD

Day 7. Onward travels

Today, based on your flights departure time you will be transferred to Liberia airport for your onward travels. B

Additional nights are available on request.
